Nokia has a monster phone in the works it goes by the name of the Nokia N8. The N8 is the next best thing coming out of the somewhat down Nokia camp. Recently the Nokia N8 has been leaked, in a somewhat Giz reminiscent daytime drama episode. Back in April The Nokia N8 showed up on a the Russian based mobile site Mobile-Review. The site was able to snap some pictures of the N8 in action as well as being able to play around with the device.
Nokia says that this decision has nothing to do with the criticism posted by the blogger on his future phone. The manufacturer also denies having demanded the closure of an affected site. “We have no problem with people who give their opinion about our company or our products,” maintains the manufacturer. This is for Nokia to protect confidential and proprietary information related to its phones.
This is a very blank response to the loss of a prototype phone, but the spokesperson also went on to suggest that the decision to take action wasn’t based on the blogger’s criticism, but rather that Murtazin has links to rival manufacturers, “this is not about attacking bloggers or people who give critical reviews of our products. So as we don’t confuse the issue, while this individual does operate a blog, he is also very public about being a ‘consultant’ to other international mobile manufacturers.”
Given that the Nokia N8 is Nokia’s next flagship phone, we’re only surised it has taken Nokia this long to make a stand.
